Photography Blinds - for use at Pike River Studio, or To Go
We have a selection of Leonard Rue III designed, pop-up photo blinds that have room for two photographers, or a photographer and their dog. They fold up, and are an easy over-the-shoulder carry into the bush. Stools not included when used away from Pike River Studio.
If you wish to photograph here on our lake and ponds, we have several excellent permanent blinds to choose from. You can also rent a camouflage kayak, or if you're really adventurous, and have a wet suit, you can rent a floating camera barge. Both are safer than you may think. In our 15 years here we have counted over 70 species of birds, mammals, amphibians, and reptiles.
Blinds to go: $15/day; $75/week; $200/month ($300 deposit required)
Land blinds at PRS: $5/hour
Kayak at PRS: $10/hour
Camera barge at PRS: $10/hour
